See what is going on in the camera's surveillance area day and night: The model is equipped with a day/night function that works using an IR cut filter. While the filter filters out disturbing infrared light from the recording during the day when it is bright enough, it switches off automatically when it gets dark and remains inactive during the night. This makes infrared light visible on the video recording and allows you to recognise things that would otherwise remain hidden in the dark. Visibility is further increased by infrared LED lighting: this illuminates the detection area without an intruder being able to see it.
Simple installation thanks to PoE
The network camera is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices even in hard-to-reach places or in areas where a lot of cables would get in the way. You save installation costs and can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a centralised uninterruptible power supply (UPS) if required.
UniFi Protect is required to operate this product. We recommend using it with UniFi Dream Machine PRO or UniFi Protect Network Video Recorder.
