Responsible transport. CO2 emissions in connection with climate change are a concern for the economy. We are also dependent on transport in our business. We have therefore decided to calculate all emissions caused by shipping between our logistics centres and shops and to make a corresponding contribution to climate protection. As an experienced sustainability partner, myclimate helps us with this.

Thanks to the cooperation with myclimate, we take responsibility for the CO2 emissions caused. The carbon offset financing of transport emissions is channelled into a portfolio of international carbon offset projects.
The projects supported by myclimate fulfil the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and thus contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In addition to the targeted reduction of greenhouse gases, myclimate also supports education and counselling projects. This promotes social, ecological and economic development in various regions.

Efficient stoves save habitat for Rwanda's
last mountain gorillas.
Less fuelwood consumption – that means habitat for animals, less deforestation, less greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, more time and money and improved health for women and girls in Rwanda! This is achieved through the subsidized sale of energy-efficient stoves to families around the Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda.
Circular economy through
plastic recycling in Romania.
This climate protection project promotes the recycling of used PET bottles and other plastic waste. The recycled PET flakes and granules obtained are reused, for example, in the packaging industry or for insulation materials in the construction sector. This conserves resources and reduces the impact on the climate.
Madagascar's blue forests protect coral reefs.
Healthy mangrove forests, also known as "blue forests," store CO2, protect the population from natural hazards and help preserve coral reefs – an important habitat for endangered species. The climate protection project promotes the sustainable use of mangroves to avoid deforestation and degradation.
