Display: Screen size is measured diagonally. Actual diagonal screen size of the 24‑inch iMac is 23.5 inches. The displays on the MacBook Air with M1 chip and 13‑inch MacBook Pro measure 13.3 inches diagonally. The displays on the 13‑inch MacBook Air with M2 or M3, the 15‑inch MacBook Air, and the 14‑inch and 16‑inch MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 13.6 inches, 15.3 inches, 14.2 inches, and 16.2 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).
MacBook Air (M2) Performance Compared to MacBook Air (M1): Testing conducted by Apple in May 2022 using preproduction 13‑inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M2, 8‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU and 24GB of RAM, as well as production MacBook Air systems with Apple M1, 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD, as well as production 1.6GHz dual‑core Intel Core i5–based MacBook Air systems with Intel UHD Graphics 617, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. Final Cut Pro 10.6.2 tested using a complex 2‑minute project with 4K ProRes 422 media. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.

Touch ID: Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is included with iMac (M3) systems with 10‑core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 8‑core GPU. It is available as an option on iMac (M3) systems with 8‑core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 7‑core GPU.
