Who can take out ReFresh funding?

All educational institutions such as schools, colleges and universities in Switzerland are eligible to participate. The eligibility criteria are based on the terms and conditions of our financing partner HeidiPay, with whom customers conclude the financing contract. Is it possible to finance accessories and extended warranties in the ReFresh programme?

If you have selected a device with residual value (iPad models), accessories and extended warranties can be financed together with the iPad. Accessories and warranties are charged with a final instalment of CHF 0 in the "Financing with ReFresh (HeyLight)" payment method (no residual value) and they belong to the buyer after they have been paid off.

What do you have to do if you want to switch to a new appliance?

If you want to trade in your old appliances and upgrade to new appliances in the last month of the term, you can save the remaining instalment (residual value) and take out a new ReFresh contract with a new term for the new appliances of your choice. If the appliances cost the same, you simply continue to pay the same low monthly instalment or the slightly higher instalment if the appliances are more expensive.

What happens if devices are defective or damaged during the ReFresh contract period?

Devices are covered by the regular Apple warranty. If the term is longer than the warranty or devices are accidentally damaged, the educational institution is responsible for having the devices repaired by an authorised Apple Service Partner at its own expense. We recommend choosing one of the extended warranty packages when purchasing the devices if you want to cover this risk.

What condition must the devices be in when they are returned?

(The following information is for information purposes, the contract concluded between the customer and HeyLight applies to the return of the device). If devices are in used but good and fully functional condition, they can be returned at the guaranteed residual value and "upgraded" to new devices. DQ Solutions checks the condition of the devices on receipt. If the condition is worse than the minimum required, the residual value can be reduced according to the defects of the equipment.

Returned devices are refurbished or recycled by an external partner, which is in line with DQ Solutions' commitment to sustainability. All sensitive data on the devices is securely deleted before resale or recycling.
